The pumpkin loaf is nearly ready....if it tastes as good as it smells I will post the recipe here soon.
Well there is no denying it. Summer is really over. Friday was 21 degrees.....Saturday was 12 degrees and today is no better. I don't know about you Dear Reader, but I am ready, Ready for comfort food, cozy sweaters and yes, damn it, socks. I have been thinking about soups and stews and maybe trying my hand at cabbage rolls. I have made a list of all the things I want to cook for us this Fall.....from baked beans to squash ravioli, we're in this together, you and I. So to start things off I have a pumpkin loaf in the oven, scenting the house with its cinnamony (yes that's a word!) wonderfulness. While its baking, let's get cozy and take a look back at some of the places I went and the things I saw this summer.... I'd love to hear about your summer Dear Reader...what did you do and see? Leave me a comment and tell me all about it!
